Open Morning at Furzehill

The Ecological Land Cooperative is holding an open morning at our Furzehill site on the Gower, South Wales, on Saturday 2nd October between 10.30am and 1pm. This is a good opportunity to find out more about the work of the Ecological Land Cooperative, meet some of the ELC staff team as well as our farm stewards, The Rowan Tree, who are currently providing veg boxes and cut flowers within the local area.

The Ecological Land Cooperative’s goal is to create affordable ecological small farms for new entrants to farming – those that would not be able to afford to buy land but who wish to earn a living through farming.

We espeicially welcome local people who would like to find out more about the project and discuss plans for the site. Tea and cake will be provided free of charge.

Location: Furzehill Green, Willoxton Cross, Ilston, Swansea, SA2 7LQ (What3words: refutes.pioneered.evolving). If you are able to walk or cycle to the site, please do. If you need to drive to site please avoid parking in the lane.
