Join us

We are always open to new members! You can join simply in order to lend your support and participate as a member, or you are very welcome to invest more in our share capital. This will allow those who have already invested money with us to withdraw their share capital if they wish, and help us to build up a fund before our next major round of community investment. We aim to pay interest on funds invested of up to 3% each year.

Steward members
We are particularly keen to hear from individuals and organisations that are managing land ecologically - regardless of whether you might wish to farm on ELC land, or your own, or on land owned by someone else. We greatly benefit from the judgement and experience of people who work with land. Membership is just £1, as we recognise that many stewards are on low incomes; but if you wish to invest more (normally up to £5,000) that will certainly help us do more. Click here for more info.

Supporter (investor) members
If you are not managing land, but want to give your support to those who do, you are equally welcome. Supporters are the backbone of our finance and have skills and knowledge that we often draw upon. Anyone can be an ELC supporter, but there is a minimum investment of £150 in order to manage the cost of administering our membership. We currently have an ongoing open share offer. Click here for more info.

You can also register an interest now in future share offers
We will then only contact you when we next launch a time-bound share offer backed by a full business plan. Register your interest here.

Donations. We of course welcome donations! You can make a monetary donation using the paypal button below or by cheque to:

The Ecological Land Co-operative
Unit B04, The Brighton Eco-centre
Brighton, East Sussex, BN1 3PB

Or if you would like to make a donation of land, or office or farm equipment we would love to hear from you.
